Our minds are often very busy. Conversations going on and stressful and destructive thoughts are difficult to get rid of sometimes. I think it can be helpful to know that thoughts and feelings are like the weather, they move through your mind and if you let them, move on. Standing observing the storm is only exciting if you know it will pass and you will see a clear sky again. Feelings and thoughts are weather and our natural and default state is, I think, a clear sky.
